Not ROCKIN' it!

I haven't done super hot today. I had a waffle for breakfast...not much sugar in it, but tons of carbs...oh, and it did have syrup on it, so I guess there was a lot of sugar afterall. I skipped lunch because I was so full from the waffle and ended up snacking on a few whole grain chips. Then dinner time rolled around. We had coupons for free tacos at Rubios...and I can't pass up FREE. I don't think the taco in and of itself is too bad...I chose shrimp. BUT...I did eat chips and beans, and a side of quac. So...dang it, I blew it the second day. Tomorrow will be better.

My goals for tomorrow:

No sweets

Get out and walk for at least a half hour at a good pace

Keep calories at 1800 or under (starting slowly)

I will be adding a weight loss bar for tracking on Monday, so watch for that.


My first goal to reach is 9lbs, then 15lbs, and then we'll go from there. I would like to lose 9 by the first week of May, and then an additional 15 by the second week of June...and then let's just say another 5 by June 21st, so that's 29 pounds by June 21st. Do you think that's attainable? Too far out there?

What are your reasons???

These are "some" of the reasons I would like to lose 100 ell bee's.

1. I have 3 whole boxes of clothes in my basement I would like to wear, and even more in the stores that I would like to put on a skinny, fit body.

2. I would like to have my ever present thighs sway nicely, without extra flabber (is that a word? you know the part I'm talking about) getting in the way.

3. I would like to feel "healthy" and not so sluggish.

4. I would like extra energy.

5. I want to wear a pair of skinny jeans, if even for one day and look GREAT in them.

6. Putting on a bathing suit and not wanting to puke...well, that would be awesome.

7. I would like to feel confident every time I walk out of the house.

8. I want DH to think, damn that girl is fine. Sorry for the expletive, but it's true.

9. I would like to shop at teen stores, like Forever 21 and H&M...and not be squeezing myself into the biggest size they offer.

Ok, so I realize that most of my reasons are vain, but that's the truth of it. ...and added bonus, HEALTH! I know that should be my BIGGEST reason, but reality, it's NOT!! Sorry if you're all disappointed in me. That's just the way the cookie crumbles...did someone say Cookie?

What's the point?

So...the point of "Bring on the Jeans" is that I have not worn jeans in probably 5 years...why? I hate the way they feel on my fat waist. The buttons digging into my gut...bleh! So, in an effort to wear jeans again, I am starting the 100 pound countdown. I got the idea from my SIL's sister...follow that? She has her own countdown here, which you can check out to be inspired. I am being realistic in the fact that I don't think this will be a SHORT process. A year, maybe...more likely a year and a half. But what is a year and a half. I think back to a year and a half ago and the time really went by so quickly. So...raise your glass (of water) to....JEANS!

There are other motivating factors...post to follow!
